President Biden recently signed an executive order creating a new special enrollment period beginning February 15 and ending May 15, 2021. This special enrollment period will give Americans who need healthcare coverage during this global pandemic the opportunity to sign up.
The special enrollment period will be offered to consumers applying for new coverage or updating an existing application through HealthCare.gov or through direct-enrollment channels. The pandemic has made securing health insurance coverage more important than ever before.
Individual healthcare is difficult to understand which makes it challenging for people to make good coverage decisions. People often come to Donna Hill, Individual / Medicare Specialist & Compliance Director, frustrated and confused by the myriad of overwhelming information. She makes sure she has a thorough understanding of a person’s needs AND stays current on individual coverage options (no small undertaking). Then she confidently explains coverage options and people feel assured they've made the best decisions.
